NEW DFTW Save the Dates

The new STDs re very beautiful. Does anyone know if it's optional to use them?

My family isn't exactly tech-savvy, and there's are only three of us (me, DF, and my MOH) who even have facebook.

We have a small guest list (25 total), and I'd rather use my own postcard style STDs. As soon as we get the date confirmed with Disney, DF and I will be telling everyone who's going in one large group anyway.

I'm pretty sure they're not sending these STDs out anymore, just emails.

That's what I thought as well. No pretty paper, just email. Hence, I'm making and sending my own.

That is a shame, they were so pretty and as much as you spend on a Disney wedding including everyone that is staying at Disney resorts and going to the Parks...they should give these away as part of the package! They should consider it an advertising cost.

I will be making my own as well. I feel that while it's great for me to have so much at my fingertips via the internet there is something I don't like about sending a STD to my guests via email. There is also the fact that a lot of my family doesn't use the computer/email nearly as often as I do.
