Hi BigDaddyRog, how did you put the yellow trim on the letters, or what type of font are you using.
Regards
Jose
The font is called WALTOGRAPH and can be downloaded for free all over the web...just google "free waltograph font" and you'll get a million results.
As for the yellow outline....Im sure it depends on what program you are using to edit with....I use a free program called GIMP, its a free download available at
www.gimp.org and is the best art program Ive ever used, and Ive used quite a few.
In gimp, after you apply your text, there's a small box at the bottom of the tools box that says "Path from text", if the font is red,I will add a 9 pixel red path, then go back and add a 3 pixel path in yellow. The red 9 pixel beefs up the font to make it look fatter, the yellow 3 pixel sits inside of the 9 pixel and leaves a nice amount of red on the outside of the yellow.
All of this will mean nothing to you if you're not using gimp, so my best advice regardless of what program youre using....dont be afraid to experiment...nothing you do to a picture is permanent until you actually save it.....so try all of those odd little functions that youve never used before, combine them with other odd functions you're scared to used...the results will surprise you..and if ya dont like what the buttons do....just hit "undo".
I have no real talents when it comes to this stuff....I just click around till something looks cool and hope that i can remember what I clicked, so if I like it I can do it again!!
the entire graphic was made using gimp...the mouse ears, the starry sky, the woodgrain, the shipswheel, captain Mickey, the carved in disboards cruisers text, the ship poking through the shipswheel...all done with gimp...and its freakin FREE!!!! I love free stuff!!!
