New Days of Our Lives Theory...

My wife is a devout "Days" fan and has watched this since the first episode. She has her own theory about the Salem killer:

John Black's ex-wife Kristen has come back and is the killer. John will end up killing her, hence Celeste's vision that John will "kill his wife." Celeste never said John was going to kill "Marlena."

However, given the outrageous story lines this show has had, I'm still not ruling out Alice Horton!

So, what do you think? Kristen or Alice...

Very interesting theory!
Someone on the show even just mentioned Kristen's name recently. I remember thinking "wow, that's totally out of the blue". However, I thought I've read a few places that the writers stated they would not be bringing back or adding a new character to be the killer and that it was a beloved character.

The suspense is killing me!!! Any idea when this will all unfold?
I have to go back to work after a long hiatus next monday. Thank god for TIVO!!

I just answered my own question....I read on a DOOL spoiler page that the killer's face will be revealed on 1/28/04. OOH, I can't wait!!

I had read on a spolier site that the killer's identity would be revealed on Jan 23rd.....One week from tomorrow we should know!!

Actually Celeste did say John will kill Marlena a couple of times. In fact, when Abe entered Celeste's body he spelled out in the tiles "John will kill Marlena", that's when Roman put John on the suspect list. I think the killer will be Hattie, posing as Marlena, and John will find out it's Hattie and kill her, and of course everyone will think it's Marlena he killed and he'll be arrested for being the serial killer, until of course Marlena escapes from where ever she is and will save him, but then again maybe you're right and it will be Alice Horton

I'm pretty sure I know what will happen, but I read spoilers. I don't want to ruin it for anyone. The writer said they will not bring in someone to take the fall. I am positive that we can all come up with something that is WAY BETTER than what the writer will do. Make sure you all watch Jan. 28. We will find out who (or who we are supposed to believe for now) the killer is. The viewers will know, but the characters will not until the end of the year.

I can not wait until the 28th! I think this plot line has gone on a little long.

Also, does anyone know if Eric/Karrie are coming back, at least for their father's funeral?
