New Counter Service DP not with DVC

FYI was looking at Allears and the details for the new quick service dining option is being reported as not available for DVC members. I was thinking of this option for our next trip but guess that is out. Now I just have to decide how much I want to eat in the room.

I don't think it has been confirmed yes or no with DVC yet. I would wait until DVC officially says.

Yes - we had it on our last trip. Never have we been so glad to get home and have the ability to order only what we were hungry for!!! My DDs 14 and 19 and I stayed 5 nights, so we had 15 TS credits. It was WAY too much food for us, and we are faithful 1-2 TS per day, every day customers!! We rarely used snack credits - we couldn't possibly have eaten ice cream or even a bottled water in the brief time before we were loading up another meal!! It became a family joke.

What killed it for us was the appetizer AND dessert, along with an entree, at each meal. I think next time we will try the regular Dining Plan again, or make sure we use more TS credits at 2TS restaurants, and plan only a late breakfast for the days we are having a big dinner.

Well I e-mailed MS to ask. Maybe they have just not worked the system out yet. Allears said DVC were not eligible so I assumed they checked. I also wonder if all the options are still available to AP holders.

We have used DP in the past before DVC so now I wonder if it is worth it to us. DD has food allergies and TS were easier to deal with but that was before I had a kitchen.

I called yesterday, and was told that none of the 2009 planned are avaliable for booking via DVC YET. I was told to check back in two weeks time. She was hopeful/confident that we would be able to get the CS plan.
