I just want to say thanks to vmk. I love the new duds for the boys. The shirt and rag looks cool with sparrow pants. Even though the girls Alice dress looks like a Maids outfit, its cute to.

If I recall correctly Alice In Wonderland was first published around 1865. A knee length dress & white pinafore style apron were very typical girl's attire from then to about the early 1900's. The apron helped to keep the dress clean, a must since this was before the era of the washing machine. At that time clothing was washed by hand in big tubs. Dresses were heavier and more difficult to get completely clean. White items like aprons could be boiled to get the stains out. So a young lady might have one daily dress, one fancier dress for Sundays, and many aprons to keep her dresses as clean as possible. 
The skirts need to be shorter and where are the white socks and black Mary Jane shoes?

Hmm. Well for the first time I'm finally beginning to see how The White Rabbit mistook Alice for Mary Ann (his maid) in the movie.

And also, I agree that the dress is far too long! I think the length is what actually makes it look more like a maid's outfit and less like Alice's dress.
