My wife and I visited WDW last month. We stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort. While visiting EPCOT we decided to get the pitch about DVC and went over to SSR. We were impressed for sure. Not being an impulse buyer, we decided to think it over. Looking at the overall cost, it does not seem like a real bargain dollar wise, but there was something that kept nagging at us to do it.
Well, we recently called them back and placed a deposit on it. We are waiting on the contract to come in. Since then I found this website and have been reading and reading. It seems that most are happy with their "home".
When I first starting reading here, with all the abbreviations, it was a bit overwhelming to get into it. After a while (and the printing of a cheat sheet) it was somewhat funny to me how most folks here were acting like they were young again or even childlike in their writings. This is not a criticism at all, quite the opposite. Maybe some of the magic rubs off on you after so many visits to WDW.
We have been to WDW only 3 times over the years and 1 time to DL. On this last trip we talked to many CMs who told us how happy there working for the Mouse. It seemed everyone with whom we had contact with was a pleasure to talk with.
We only hope that this continues once we make our first trip as DVC members. The information here is invaluable and thanks to all you have contributed to it.
