New Code for May

I called today to see if I could use a code for my DC package through WDTC (room only plus the mini golf) in May.

The code I had included UPHs which wouldn't work for me (I have APs).

HOWEVER, the CM spent some time looking for a code that would work.

SHE FOUND ONE

ZWHV

That's what I wrote down. I hope it is right.

It saved me 40%.

So if you have a room only package through WDTC and couldn't use the AXA or AXB code, try this code.

Hello,
Just spoke with CRO and they said this code could only be used if you were currently staying at a Disney resort and booking a future reservation.

Sounds like it must be the Bounce-Back code.

The current comeback code is BAQ, and it doesn't sound as though the op is currently at WDW so I wouldn't think they'd be able to apply that type of discount.

I called too. That code ZWHV is definitely a "comeback rate" as the CM I spoke to said you had to be there at WDW to use it. She couldn't believe "my friend" was able to use it when he called from home. She asked if he had been there recently and was modifying, and I said I didn't think so. -HM

The CM said that code would not give me a better rate than the current AXA.

I also called just now to see what rate I could get with that code and was told I could not use it. It was a "come back" rate code and could only be used when booking another reservation during a current stay. The good news is this code is good through 12/03 so I will make my November reservations during my May visit.

I just called WDTC and she said I could use the code. It wasn't avail. for AKL so, I asked about the Poly. and it was and priced it out for me. I gave her the res. # I already had to switch to this code and she said my res. number was a COR # and she could transfer me. I asked are you sure I could use the code and she said yes. I could either just book a whole new res. with her or be transfered. Well stupid me said transfer and CRO said I couldn't use it !!! I should of just stayed on with WDTC and had her put it through. It would of been only $216.00 a night!

Just called CRO-he said it is called the "on-site resort offer" and that you can't book it unless you are on Disney property and he checked and double checked and he said that I can call from Vero Beach in May and use it if it is available. I'm a little concerned it won't be available. Just think how many people are going to use this between now and May-the more people at DW, the more people are going to use it to get the discount on a future stay.

I know it is not available for a suite but I could get 3 concierge rooms using the code for the price of the suite.

These codes are driving me crazy.

Well, I guess I'll correct my statement about the code for a come back rate. Apparently there is more than one code. I just got my revised confirmation in the mail today and it has a different code than either the baq or this one and it's definitely a come back rate.

I am sorry I gave false hope with this new code I posted. I may have misunderstood her when she gave me the code. (Vs, Bs, and others are so hard to tell the difference)

I didn't know what the restrictions were but she had no trouble booking the code.

I may have gotten the code wrong because I will be staying at the AKL.

This is probably one of the few times a mistake by a CM has been beneficial.

I just hope that WDW honors the rate when I check in

that code is a come back rate, and I was told by a couple of cms at the WDW Travel Co, that the discount could be taken away if caught that the guest was ineligible at time of booking...

Other than any requirements of proof that are listed on your confirmation (Florida residency, Disney Club discount, AP discount, etc.) once they give you proof of confirmation your rate is set and they will honor it. I wouldn't worry about it.

No apologies are neccessary. Everyone is anxious for codes to come out. A few false alarms keeps us on our toes!

I called up CRO today just to pay the deposit for my May trip and without asking she mentioned that if I made arrangements for my next trip to WDW while I was on property, I would get 40% off rack rates. She also happened to be a very nice CM named Nadine, and we talked Disney for almost 45 minutes!

Christmas at WL is sounding good....

Do you know if they'll be offering the comeback rates in June? We check in on June 28. I'd would love to lock in a discount for our Christmas trip.

I think it's good through 2003.
