New Code for ALL Disney Visa CC

There is a room only code out for Disney Visa cardmembers. It's posted on the resort board. I called and AKL standard was $134, Sav $210. I booked a poolview for 154 at AKL.


"There is a new room only discount out for Disney Visa card members for check in dates from 4/18 - 7/4. You need to apply the deposit to your visa at the time of booking. Sample rates are:

value resorts - $69

moderate resorts - $89

Animal Kingdom Lodge standard view - $134

Polynesian garden view - $239

There is also a discount for Dream Maker Packages and Silver add on. This is not the 4 for 7 offer, but a discounted package."

Do you happen to know what the discount is for the Dream Maker Package? I might need to hurry and apply for a card now.

She couldn't get the code to work on my package. I think it's because I only needed 3 UPH and the system wouldn't let her.

She said it was the discounted room plus the price of the UPH for the days you're there. There are the minature golf extras too and a few others. There is no discount on the UPH tickets.

You could price the UPH tickets on the Disney site and then add it to the cost of the room.

The code for this discount is CTV per a reservation agent that I just spoke with. It is good ONLY for Disney Visa card holders. I just got AKL savannah view for $210 plus tax.

Oh no, I was just reading another post and is it true that this offer is only for NEW Disney Visa card holders? I didn't see that thread before I called. I'm going to have to check my reservation to make sure it's still secure. I didn't mean to take advantage of any offer. I thought this was for ALL Disney Visa card holders.

Okay, another thought. On the resort board, they state this is for New and Old Visa card holders. I hope they are right.

I don't see this listed on the Visa site under current offers, is it a newspaper code? If so it may only target certian areas....

that this deal will be open to anyone and not just Disney Visa holders?

The Disney Visa Card was not a good deal compared to my other cards. Does this mean I'll never get to use a discount code again?
(Yes, I'm being slightly dramatic, but not all of us DisFanatics need or want a Disney Visa. It sucks if we can't make use of the discounts).

Just bad timing!
We plan on staying the first day the new code goes intoeffect but!
Last year I lost the Disney club and this year we didn't get the Disney Visa card because we are house hunting and every thing is frozen financailly with pre approval papers.
Pardon me, I just had to vent!!!

I just got the AKL for 6 nights in April for $210 savannah view! My parents are traveling with us & they will love this resort!

I do have a disney visa card but had ressies we were changing so she never asked for the card number again or anything.

Poly garden view was already gone, good luck to others!

Where do you call to get the rates. I am a disney visa card holder so I should be eligible for them, I'm just not sure where to call about them.

You would call 1-407-WDISNEY. Tell them you want a room only reservation using the code CTV.

Does anyone know if I can switch my ressie package? I currently have the Disney Visa kids are free package. I think I would save some $ or be able to move from POR to AK with these prices and still be on budget. Can I switch ressies without loosing any $. I only have 1 DD who qualifies as free so I'm not getting that great of a deal. I just hate calling DW CM and trying to work with some of them. Some are great and some are not. It just depends on who you get as to how well you are helped. Thanks, YO
