new code confusion

I tried to weed through the other thread but wanted to update in case any of you are as aggravated as I am OK- I have reservations through AAA since about a month ago... I tried to add on the free water park option but the discount would have cost me $$, so I didn't. Today I received the 40% off mailing (never got one before) and tried to apply it- but was told it was not for a "package". I asked if I could just do room only (we're talking Grand Floridian here, so it would be $$ saved!) and she said no. I hat having to play roulette with these CM's- one says yes, the next says no. I feel like my new part time job is trying to find discounts and make them work!

You need to call back.The 40% off is for room only and hen they add in the tickets and dining for regular costs.I got the postcard to and had the choice to do a package or room only,was told that by 3 CMS.So dont give up just try calling back.

Oh good Lord- now she said the code's not valid for my dates of travel....

This is exactly why I let my travel agent at Small World handle it all
I used to do this myself and drive myself batty when codes like this came out because I could never get the same answer or apply the discount, etc, etc. without calling more then once

Now I just email my agent my pin offer, if I have one, or whatever else I need and she handles it all for me. I never have to call reservations and get aggravated again

I just tried with the new code and it ended up being more for me once they applied the new code...go figure! Anyhow, just going to go in May and enjoy myself...no matter what the cost!!!!

There are about 7 different date ranges throughout the year...it is possible your dates don't fall into one of them.

It is a really good deal is it possible to alter your dates? As long as you check in during a valid time your entire stay would be at the discounted rate.

Anyone know the dates for that specific code? I called and and gave them that code and was quoted the same rate that I had already booked for without the code so I will assume that my dates in August do not qualify or my location, CSR doesn't/

That is a code associated with a pin...while some have been able to book it is NOT a general public code.

Use code ???, this is a code posted all over some of these rooms. It will give you 40% off your room and allow you to add dining and one day tickets. I booked mine last night. Good luck and hope you get a good CM
