New Cinderella Suite

Does anyone know if that suite will eventually be able to be rented by anyone wanting to stay there or will it be shut down after the year of a million dreams?

my guess Disney intends to use it for their guests, entertainers - who are hard to guard - plus as someone else said WDW executives.

if they offer it to the public - it might be as an auction to raise money for those kids (make a wish) program.

no matter it will be so far out of my price range - that I am hoping, wishing for my one and only time this March!!!!

I have a friend thats getting married there in July. She was able to rent the suites and the other rooms there for her party.

there is only that one suites. It isn't for rent. it is being used for dreams & wishes thing currently going on.

I have a friend thats getting married there in July. She was able to rent the suites and the other rooms there for her party.

But as have been posted, there is only 1 suite!

If it could be rented, the cost would be high, maybe 10,000 per night!

I'm sorry if I'm giving out wrong info. I only had the conversation with her yesterday and it seemed like this is what she told me. I even questioned her. She had said that her Fiance paid over 12,000 for all the rooms. I will speak with her again to try and get the full details on her ressies.

She could be confused on where this suite is. Perhaps she heard all the hype about the Cinderella suite and automatically assumed that this is where she'd be staying since she booked a suite herself. I can see how it might be confusing to one who isn't that familiar with WDW.

Although Disney is a supporter of Make a Wish, they are a very LARGE supporter/contributor to Give Kids the World (a similar organization.) At least they were when I worked for them several years ago. I am sure the suite will be used for many a promo/prize etc. Don't worry! I am sure it won't stay empty! Even if the nightly rate were astronomical, it would give a feeling of 'elitist' to WDW. I would think that Disney would not feel that would be the image it wants to project.
