I did get breakfast PS for this Sat. at CRT. I called and cancelled this PS. My DD loves to eat at the castle. I hope that there is more feedback about this dinner soon.

I read Cindy and Prince Charming wait in the lobby for photos and autographs and inside there was the Fairy Godmother, Susy Mouse and Pearl Mouse. I hope that they include more characters than that.

Last Dec. at CRT breakfast the Fariy Godmother was the best character of the all. She really is great with the kids.

Mars315- I hope all goes well for you and the 2 girls. I think it is more fun to surprise the children. I know that DH and myself are really looking forward to this trip. Even though it will be a short one.:D :D

Maybe this can help answer a few of your questions.

They said that the character that they have will be it. I asked about Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia and they told me "NO". They went on to say that 5 character tends to be the most even if some are in the lobby due to traffic and turning the tables over for more guests to eat and see the characters.

The meal was $23.99 for Adults and $12.99 for children under 9.

Sounds high, but worth every penny. They had great food.
Try the Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Oh, dinner starts at 5:00 p.m., I don't know what time it ends though. Sorry.

Is this just dinner? What do they do @ breakfast the Mary Poppins one?

Just curious?
Thanks,
Lisa

Yes, Mary Poppins is still at breakfast. Usually had Mad Hatter, Alice, and a couple others. I'm excited over the dinner there - we'll be there our first day! I am disappointed that there won't be the evil stepsisters though. I saw a couple guys dressed up like them at Halloween at MNSSHP. It was really funny!

Are the food offerings the same as when the dinner was with Pooh characters, or have the selections changed??:):):)

I have not heard anything about the menu changing. Just the characters.

When we were there in Oct, we ate at the breakfast, and loved it! They are right about only 5 characters... that day we saw Mary and Bert in the lobby and Pooh, Tigger and Alice inside.

It is possible once they are able to cast the parts of Lady Tremain, Drizella and Anastasia they will rotate through them as well. I understand that since they will be face characters, they have had a hard time.

Anyway, other meals usually only have only 5 characters each time, as well!

At Storybook Princess we saw Snow White, Mary Poppins, Aurora, Belle and Jasmine that day. At Hollywood and Vine, there were Minnie in the lobby, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale, at LTT, there were Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale, at Chef Mickey's (this was a long time ago) there was Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy, at ARtist's Point, when they had a character breakfast, there were Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger, and at the Garden Grille there were Mickey, Pluto Chip and Dale.

Don't feel like you are being cheated if you only see 3-5 characters, that is actually pretty standard, and they never go over 5!

When I called to make ressies for Cinderellas, they said the menu would be the same.

Some questions:

1. Can you drive over to this (is there parking for dinner guest).

2. Is there items for vegetarians?

3. Do some of the little girls dress up in princess dresses?

4. You don't need a 'park pass' for this day would you since it is at a resort right?

Thanks,
DJ

1. YES. they may ask for your PS number!

2. I don't know. Check Deb Willis site under menu's and see.

3. Most younger girls love to dress up as Cindy. She really like to see them dressed up.

4. You will not need park admission. This is another plus of this dinner.

westjones,

We went to 1900 Park Fare in December. We did valet parking because we were informed that self parking is a loooooong way away. They even told us at the gate that if we were going to self park that my husband might want to drop us off and walk back himself. The valet parking was $6.00. When you go through the magic kingdom maingate east. STAY RIGHT. When you pass under the gate you must go to the far right lane (very close to the gate) to go to the magic kingdom resort area. Then follow the signs to the Grand Floridian. We missed it on our first try and we were in the far most right lane. We did not have to pay at this gate to park. We told them that we were going to eat at the Grand Floridian.

I don't remember the self parking area to be that far out of the way when we were there and parked our car (probably 4 years ago) You kind of get used to walking at a WDW vacation anyhow- burn off a few extra calories before you go eat at a buffet!! :p

Wondering if there were any more people who have done this. Is it any good (food, character interaction, ect.)?

I have ps for 1/30 and I don't know if I want to do it anymore I thought it was going to be alot of princesses and the cost is high and you can see cinderella in the lobby of the castle, it's between this and the storybook princess breakfast at epcot. I just don't know.

Some friends of mine did it this weekend, I can't wait to hear their report when they get back.

Jojomg, it is expensive, but as some have already pointed it, it's a dinner so a bit more of a substantial meal than the breakfasts. For example, I might be able to talk my DH into it with the offerings of prime rib and mussels. Also, it does not require park admission, so depending on the tickets you have or have used that day, that is also a bonus.

I hope to try it on our next trip, whenever that is.

We were at the dinner last week, my MIL and almost 3 yr old DS. There was no crowd at all for our 5:30 PS, there were even empty tables inside. DS posed with Prince & Cinderella and they tried to talk to him but he was a bit shy. They did not rush at all.

The food was very good, DS had mac & cheese, pizza & chicken nugget. I had caesar salad, turkey with gravy, egg roll (V.good), but I forgot to try the strawberry soup, I noticed it too late. I've forgotten what MIL had. Dessert was very good also, key lime tarts, raspberry choc cake, cupcakes & cheesecake.

The mice were very cute, DS was standing on his chair looking for them, he was so excited to see them on their way to our table. They took a lot of time and let you pose with them, he hugged them and kissed them on the nose. It was so sweet. The fairy godmother seemed to miss us on her route, I had to call out to her, then she came over to visit with us.

Also, we timed it very well, our PS was 5:30pm then we walked out to the dock at the GF and had a fabulous view of the fireworks at 7pm. I recommend this plan to anyone.

Have a great time to all who have upcoming plans, we did!!
