New Character DIning Info

I just called to make ADR for the Donald breakfast last week and they weren't booking it then for my August trip So I called today and they were taking ADR now.

Also I made an ADR for the Cinderella Grand Gala Feast at Gradng Floridian and they said it was going to be at the Grand Floridian Cafe while 1900 Park Fare in in Rehab. They also said the menu is going to be the same as in 1900 Park Fare. There will be a buffet and not a pre plated menu as the earlier information stated. I am so confused. What is really going on.

Honestly, the Dining line CM's don't know what they are talking about half the time...

The new Donald's Safari B'fast (at Tusker House in the AK) isn't starting until mid November, so your August trip isn't affected at all. The current Donald's Breakfastosaurus is being served until the first week of November. There is no reason for them NOT to be taking ADRs for it until then.

From all I've heard, the 1900 PF rehab is taking place from 7/9 to 10/1. During that time, the character b'fast and dinner will be at the GF Cafe and be pre-plated meals- NOT buffets. There isn't even any way for there to be a buffet set up at the GF Cafe.

If I hear it from a CM on the Dining Line, I assume it's UNtrue unless I read a confirmation on the DIS or the WDW Official website... sometimes, it seems like they love to dish out mis-information!!

you might want to call back and double check. they can always change how they want to serve the meals- maybe they realized that it'd be easier to keep it as a buffet instead of pre-plated meals.

I don't think there's room at the GF Cafe for a buffet. It's not very big. The next time I call I'll ask.
