New Castle Show "Dream Along with Mickey"

okay clarify for me there are two new shows? Mickey something and then a toy story show? when exactly are they to start Sept 30t? we are going October 2nd and I would love to catch these two new shows, even though I already have a full itinerary I will figure out how to add them in. My DD loves toy story and has since she was about 3.

There is going to be a number of new shows. Dream Along With Mickey will be the biggest of the new ones and will take place at the Castle Stage. The Other shows (including Woody's Cowboy Camp, the Toy Story-themed show) will be smaller street shows in the lands. Here's some info on these new shows that's been floating around the net:

Woody's Cowboy Camp - This new entertainment event, for the Year of A Million Dreams, is Woody’s Cowboy Camp If you haven't had your share of audience participation for the day, head on over to Frontierland for Woody's Cowboy Camp where Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye will lead guests in a hoedown. There will be ridin', singin', dancin' and rowdy good fun according to Disney.

High School Musical Pep Rally - The pep squad from the Disney Channel Original Movie will be spreading school spirit aboard their decked out vehicle. Guests will have the opportunity to learn dance moves from the musical numbers featured in the movie. The entertainment will end with everyone singing the song "We're All In This Together!".

Royal Court Academy - Guests join Sir Cecil and Lady Cecilia, the Magic Kingdom Royal Image Consultants, for Royal Court Academy. Little princes and princesses will learn how to be royal and elegant. This will be followed by dancing with Disney princes and princesses in Cinderella Castle Courtyard.

Family Fun Day Parade- This new parade will start at the Castle Hub, go down Main Street to Town Square and around the Flag Pole. Between 50 and 100 guests will be selected at random to participate each day, and the parade will run two or three times a day. Disney Characters will also be involved, including Chip & Dale, Daisy Duck, and Horace and Clarabelle Cow.

Yup. All the new shows should be starting very soon.

We are so lucky to be able to be at WDW when everything changes over. Twice as much fun in one trip!

YAYYYYYY, this has really cheered me up!, the kids love toy story and a new show with the "big cheeses" will be fantastic, all i need now is the nemo ride at epcot to be open end oct and i`ll be a very happy camper!,

Malificient!!! Now, that's good news. We love Malificient at our house. I was going to be dressed as Mal for MNSSHP but I think the costume would be a bit prohibitive...and that headgear, well I can just see it on BTMRR now. Add Aurora to the mix and we are going to be very happy campers!!! Yippee yahooey!!!

Dd will be thrilled to hear about Woody and friends...she has always loved Jessie. The one time we were there for the previous Toy Story show at Diamond Horseshoe she was too shy to go anywhere near Jessie!!!

wow, this is great news!! but now the hard part... figuring out how to spend more time in MK after 10/1 when we're only in wdw 'til 10/4! yikes... time to reevaluate that itinerary! LOL!

WOW, they all sound GREAT!!! We haven't been to Disney since 2003, and the show at the castle had all the characters that are going to be in this one. (Or at least a lot of them!) That show was wonderful....I think it was the CSC!!

BIG bump!! The new Mickey show sounds very exciting and is already scheduled for this week along with the other new shows on Steve Soares site!!!!. Wow!!! Go here and click 'Magic Kingdom' at the top. I can't wait to see the new Mickey show!! The kids are gonna love this one.
