New Castle Show "Dream Along with Mickey"

Yes, the new show is called Dream Along with Mickey, and I think you all will really like it! I've seen the costume sketches and heard parts of the soundtrack.

It will have Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, 3 classic prince/princess couples, Captain Hook, Smee, pirates, Wendy, Peter Pan, and Malificant.

I'll find out about the Woody show soon. I'm in rehearsals for it this week.

WONDERFUL! It's about time Disney got back to focusing on some of the animated classic characters.

I think having Hook and Mickey in a show like this is a GREAT change!

How long do the shows usually last? Hoping to go late next year, and I would love to see Maleficent in a show. She's my favorite villain!

I welcome the new show. I did not think Cinderellabration was all that. The costumes were amazing, the story was a little sweet, but it did not get me teary-eyed like most things Disney. I did not find the show to be magical. I am really looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully I can get to Disney during this celebration.

Cinderellabration stunk. The only thing it was good for was getting rid of some of the lines in the park. Both the wife and I were VERY disappointed.

Agreed. I just felt that Cinderellabration was catered to such a specific audience, while the previous show, with many characters was great.

REmember, at the end of the previous show, all the characters were on stage and did a photo op. THAT'S the sort of thing that Disney got away from for some reason, and they need it back.

Cinderellabration made ME cry, and my sister too. It was the perfect show for our family. We entered the Magic Kingdom our first night after traveling all day with an almost 3 yr old princess lover who nearly cried when the castle was roped off JUST as we reached it (for the parade), and was only consoled when told that Cinderella had to go to bed but we would see her in the morning.

But oh-oh -- we had CRT breakfast booked, but not until the following morning -- what were we going to tell her the next morning when she toured the castle and saw NO Cinderella in it? Cinderellabration was the PERFECT solution to that problem, and she was thrilled to see ALL her beloved princesses come to visit Cinderella at her castle, as well.

We loved Cinderellabration. I'm sure we'll love the new show too. But I don't understand all the negative comments on Cinderellabration I've seen on the disboards.

The new show is called "Dream Along with Mickey". It starts on Sept. 30 (or is supposed to). CSC is not coming back, unfortunately.

We leave Sept 30. We'll have to go to MK before our 6pm flight home to see the new show! Can't wait to see it. We're eating lunch at CM that day and seeing the new show will be a perfect ending to our trip!

Me too. I loved Cinderellabration. And I can't wait for the opening of Dream Along with Mickey. It sounds like a lot of fun (I especially love the pirate scene ). 10 days to go. And yes, there are 3 princesses- Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora (plus Wendy).

I know a lot of kids will be thrilled to see a show staring Mickey in front of the castle. Cinderellabration, was great for little girls, not so much for little boys.

The show it replaced was quite popular and catered to a larger crowd than just the little girls.

Plus it had Mickey.

I'm excited about the new shows and can't wait to see them. Always love seeing new things every time we go. I'm really happy about the Toy Story show, our DGS's will love it.

okay clarify for me there are two new shows? Mickey something and then a toy story show? when exactly are they to start Sept 30t? we are going October 2nd and I would love to catch these two new shows, even though I already have a full itinerary I will figure out how to add them in. My DD loves toy story and has since she was about 3.
