Last month there were several threads about the purchase of new cars. July 17, we purchased a brand new '04 Accord EX with leather, XM radio, etc, etc. It was DHs new car for work as he has an hour and 20 minute commute one way. Fast forward three weeks to the day... and we were on our way to a picnic, waiting at a stop sign, no less. A car coming NB on the cross street decided to make the turn in front of us into the path of a SB vehicle. The NB car was pushed into us. We weren't injured, thank goodness, but the car was not driveable. Just got the good word from the body shop today that we should be able to pickup the car Friday. They will have had it one day short of the same amount of time that we had it.
