New Car Saturday!

So DW has a lease on a 2002 Chevy Tracker right now that is just a complete piece of garbage. The thing runs really rough, doesn't have a great deal of power, and is blown all over the freeway when you're driving on windy days to say nothing of the comfort inside the thing.

We're moving up a little--On Saturday we're picking up a VW Touareg for her. I've driven them quite a bit and like them immensely. Has anyone else looked/driven these? Your thoughts?

Yes, that's what we're getting. For those that are interested it'll be a V6 Venetian (Dark) green with black leather inside. It's got the Premium II package, Air suspension, Navigation, Parking Assistance, Xenon lamps and a trailer hitch.

PS: Aleady have a personalized plate for it, too: "I8ABTL" - Sound it out.

Chevy Trackers - StuartMI. You forgot to say how noisy they are when you are driving down the highway. You can't carry a conversation in that car.

Oooooh, I'm so jealous I am not a big fan of SUVs EXCEPT for the Tourag. We own a Passat wagon and absolutely love it. We started out leasing it and subsequently purchased it. VWs are great cars and the Tourag is no exception. Good luck with it and enjoy!!!! You made a great choice.
