G'day all,
I bought a Canon S2-IS today from Brandsmart at a pretty decent price ($319), and the camera they gave me was a floor sample camera. I didn't really give it that much thought at the time, due to the price, but I've been having second thoughts after bringing it home. I looked at the little bitty memory card that the camera came with and it had several photos of someone's house/cat/some bugger playing golf on it, so obviously the camera is a return.
In that case, should I return the camera? I am fairly sure that they don't have any brand new cameras otherwise they would not have given me the floor sample, but I still have some slight misgivings about it even though there is every chance the camera is fine. I wonder also if I have grounds to ask for a further discount because of what I have discovered, although the receipt does state that the camera might be a return or a refurbed camera.
Any suggestions or advice for a dopey camera buyer?
