The Nikon D90. Thanks to everyone who gave me input. It was a hard decision but I'm ready to get to work on tnhis new system before our trip to WDW on the 25th of Oct. Yikes that's close I have alot of learning to do! Hopefully I can get the hang of it before we go so I can have photos to post. I'll miss my Pentax but am ready to learn this NIkon. It looks fun!

I really like it. I'm taking time today to read the manual page by page to understand all the features. I have the standard 18-105 lens now but will add soon. Now the new decision is spending $ on the 70-200 2.8f or just the 70-300 vr...decisons. Probably the vr due to cost right now.

I love my 18-200VR on the D200

Congrats on the new camera. I have the 70-300mm VR and have gotten a lot of great sports shots with it. Its a great lens for the money.

Practice manual focusing in live view before you go on your trip, so that you can make some great video clips. It really takes some practice.

Good body though, Im pleasantly surprised at how capable the D90 is in low light, even if it focuses slow. The kit lens seems fine compared to the 18-200 I used to have for about 1/2 the price. Great setup for WDW! If anything I want something wider than 18 at Disney more than wanting more on the long end of 105. (10.5 fits in a pocket nicely)
