New CA Grill Check In; Anyone done it?

I was just curious if any one has experienced the new check in procedure at the CA Grill that we heard so much about? If so can you share your experience..the good, the bad...
I am especially interested in any one who was just going up to the bar and how that was handled.

Any insights would be fantastic!

HI!

We ate at the California Grill last Thurs. evening. We checked in on the 2nd floor, rec'd a pager and then shopped on the 3rd floor awaiting our PS. When the pager went off, we returned to the 2nd floor and were escorted on the elevator to the CG.

We had a wonderful time and this was the first time we took our 4 children. Everyone had a great time! And, we were able to get firework reservations the same day!

Thanks for the info! Did they give you the option of going up and waiting at the bar for your table?
