New BWV Sofa Beds - More Info Please

I didn't want to get lost among the the big news about MYW Dining on the other thread, so I'm asking here.

Does anyone have more info about the sofa bed replacement at BWV?
Will they be the SSR variety?
When will they in place? (Of course, I need to know for my August trip. )
Same upholstery? Hate to admit it, but I'm not too fond of the current fabric.

I would imagine since the new beds at OKW are the same type as the ones at SSR these will be similar. Not sure about fabric.

We had a new sofabed in our BWV 1 bedroom last December. It was the SSR kind and it had the same print as before.

Ummmmm...is there something wrong with the sofa beds @ BWV (other than the obvious fact that they are what they are - a sofa bed)?

Yep, we traded up out of the AS's & bought DVC, sight unseen, based on Disney's overall quality. My DS didn't seem too thrilled when he found out he'd be sleeping on one instead of a comfy bed, I've been assuring him that "...it's Disney, of course the pull-out will be comfortable...". Hope I don't have to eat my words, I'll neve hear the end of it...have to add on for sure then.

The basic problem is they are old and worn out. I think sofabeds are originally intended in general to be for a guest room not pulled in and out almost everyday.

the pullouts at BWV are backbreakers! we stick the kids on it since they're still toddlers.

Haven't seen the SSR (or OKW) `type in order to make a comparison. However, it's my understanding they're a new-fangled "pull-out" bed (kinda like a drawer). Whereas, the "old/current" BWV sofa beds are the traditional "fold-out" type.

I think most people who have tried the SSR type say they're much better than the fold-out type.

Does anyone know the timetable for the new sofabeds? Just curious--I'm not expecting them, though, by our Jan. 1 trip Thank goodness our dd8 is pretty small and can sleep anywhere....

Why does your DH have to sleep on the sofa? Aren't you letting him have the master with you?

Can't ever remember kicking DH out of bed (he's the nice one in our partnership LOL). No, I meant my DS, aka the prince & the pea.

Since were streeeeeeeeeeeeching our points out & only 1 of my 3 boys currently is interested in vacationing with us; it's the studios for us. Still, any DVC has got to be a vast improvement over the AS's (can't wait to find out - 7 days & counting.)

Afraid to try a 1 BR, we might like it and have to add-on...
