New broker to list with

I currently have a listing with Fidelity that is about to expire in the next few days and I'm thinking about changing brokers. Would love some input on the pros and cons with any particular broker. Thanks in advance

I'm hoping to buy a contract with 65 points at the Beach Club Villas....you wouldn't happen to have that, I suppose? 65 seems to be an odd amount to watch for.

UPDATE<<<<<

Listing with The Timeshare store was a seamless process... and today I received
a full price offer.... I am absolutely amazed at how efficient the staff and process has been with them. Its barely been 2 weeks and they sold my contract.

That's wonderful! :yay: I'm so glad you had as good an experience as I did with them.

Thanks for the update.

Sorry no it was a 190 SSR contract

I was very unimpressed with Fidelity when I called. I felt like I was bothering them. The person I spoke to was very curt and acted like he wanted me off the phone. I decided to shop elsewhere and bought through TSS.

I inquired (by email)about several contracts on their website. It's been 3 weeks and no response at all. I am also now in the process of buying a contract through TTS. Immediate response from their staff. :goodvibes

:rotfl2:Kicker is, I am a cash paying customer. Money in hand to spend - their loss.

There are several excellent companies who handle DVC resales. My own experience has been with purchases, not selling, but I have experienced professional & quick service from three:
*************** (****, one of the owners worked at DVC for years and provided the service you'd expect from a good cast-member, we were new to the resale market when adding to our resorts and **** took a lot of time to answer my questions and ensure I was comfortable with the process; another owner, ***** was also a DVC castmember).

DVCbyResale.com (Shontell Crawford has been very efficient and friendly while handling our current purchase contract which is midway through ROFR, she has returned calls and e-mails promptly and the website was updated within MINUTES whenever changes occurred).
TSS (no particular agent comes to mind, we've only purchased through the two companies above, but my e-mails and phone messages have always been handled promptly and courteously by TSS).

I scan reviews of resellers on occasion and seem to find a larger percentage of negative reviews on Fidelity than any other company. Not a scientific data analysis, for sure, but that is my perception. What's up with them? "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

Best of luck with a new company!

Sorry, I'm new to the boards and just noticed one of the companies I mentioned was filtered out with asterisks. According to the instructions I found "Regarding Advertisers...", I should use a link to their site. I've edited now, let's see if I'm following the right protocol

I think maybe their generic website email address isn't checked periodically. I contacted Sharon there using her email address and she always answered within a couple of business hours. I know they don't work on weekends as the rest do. I'm closing our purchase with them now and so far everything is going smoothly. Maybe they aren't the fastest but I was able to get the contract at my budgeted price and so far everything has went according to schedule. With other three brokers I just got my offers rejected by the sellers. I never was told that my offer was too low before it was presented as some are reporting with none of the brokers I talked to.

I am sure you are correct. My add ons have been 100 pts. or less and I have always offered at asking price. I am a terrible negotiator. :rotfl:

For 100 or less points contracts you don't have too much space to negotiate anyways ;)
