I'm just tired of eggs (although I do like them), hate oatmeal. Cereal is OK once or twice a month. Pancakes & waffles are out~not into sweets for breakfast. What does that leave me? What do you eat for breakfast?

toast with peanut butter, bananas or apples with peanut butter, yogurt are my main breakfast foods. I'm doing the opposite of you and trying to add in eggs more but I don't really like eggs. I LOVE oatmeal but can't eat it. I need something with protein in the morning or I feel hungry all day.

Cereal is our 'go to' but I also love a Nutrigrain waffle with a little Nutella and banana or strawberry slices on top.

My go to is an egg sandwich on a wholewheat bagel (homemade) with mozzarella. I need protein in the morning after I work out. My backup would be a bagel with peanut butter or cheese. Cereal, pancakes, and waffles mess with my blood sugar in the morning so I avoid them.

I had a chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie.
Peanut butter on something is usually a good idea.

In our house our breakfast menu includes...... eggs/egg whites....sometimes as a sandwich or wrap, sometimes as an omelet or scramble with veggies; Yogurt (plain fat free greek) mixed with organic berries, cinnamon, and stevia..... a sprinkling of granola or All-Bran buds or sliced almonds on top is nice; flaxseed muffin... healthy, easy, homemade, flexible and fast.... but high in calories so that is mostly something that DH eats; smoothies.... DS has one daily on school days... organic milk, natural peanut butter, banana, Power Greens, chocolate protein powder, flaxseed oil, and a bit of dark chocolate cocoa powder.... sometimes I have a smoothie with almond milk, Power Greens or kale and/or baby spinach, fruit, stevia, cinnamon, etc; toast with peanut butter and banana; and of course, oatmeal (but I won't go into details since you don't like it). That is the "usual" line-up in our house. HTH..................P

Ham, egg, & cheese sandwich
Breakfast pizza
Breakfast burrito

Any of the above can be prepared in bulk & warmed up on an as-needed basis.

Typically I have a breakfast sandwich (ham, egg and cheese on an English muffin). My wife got me a doo-hickey that grills/toasts/melts it all at the same time. There's different chambers that allow each to cook, then with a pivoting "plate" I slide it all together. Anyway, this morning I actually had a sleeve of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies instead. I was really hungry and didn't want to wait for the sandwich. :D

I'll have an english muffin with a little bit of peanut butter, or a protein shake. The shakes tend to be more filling and are healthy.

I often have soup for breakfast, usually something with beans and vegetables. Sometimes I have a smoothie. I have a friend who makes and gives out home-made granola every year at Christmas and I love that for breakfast too.

I slice a banana in half, spread it with peanut butter and sprinkle with dried cranberries or walnuts.

Also half a bagel (I like the bagel thins) with cream cheese and a slice of tomato sprinkled with salt and pepper

I'm trying to avoid junky carbs so for me, it's protein and fruit. Half a whole wheat english muffin, with one slice canadian bacon, one egg and 1 ounce of 50% cabot's sharp cheddar cheese.

Or...a shake with The organic Whey protein powder (no flavorings, no fake sugar, no soy, just grassfed organic whey), 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, shake of cinnamon, splash of vanilla, one frozen banana.

Or....pumpkin oatmeal, cooked with canned pumpkin, almond milk, cinnamon and served with walnuts and a tiny splash of maple syrup.

Or...berries, such as raspberries, blackberries served with greek yogurt, splash of honey or maple and whole almonds.

I just make a smoothie. It's healthy, filling, quick, and I can mix up the flavors.

This is what I do too. This morning my smoothie contained a banana, a cup of frozen berries and a scoop of powdered greens with some chia and flax seeds thrown in.

I make my smoothies in a nutribullet, one of my favorite kitchen gadgets.

Another thing I will eat for breakfast is a peanut butter and banana sandwich on whole wheat. Delicious and very filling.

Whenever my BF and his son want waffles, instead of putting maple syrup on mine, I take two of them, and put fat-free cream cheese on one and some homemade preserves on the other, and turn it into a little sandwich. It's more effective with those mini eggos though. :)

I like to make crepes. I often make a bunch ahead of time, and keep them in the fridge ready to be filled. My go-to filling is apples (I saute sliced apples in some butter, sprinkle with cinnamon, then add just a splash of real maple syrup and cook a bit more to caramelize them. Might be too sweet for you, but I don't use very much maple syrup.) You could also use spinach, or any type of omelet filling. I will say spinach is my favorite breakfast veggie--love it and it makes me feel like I got a start on eating vegetables if I had a serving at breakfast. I keep a huge tub in the fridge and it's mostly eaten in omelets and crepes (and salads for lunch).
