Have had a great day!!!!

Booked next years holiday to the West Coast, with the 20% FVC discount available this weekend, which will include 4 days in Disneyland Resort.

Then my dad offered to take the family on holiday over Christmas . . . so where did I suggest?!! Yes - my one chance to finally see Florida over Christmas has come - just two months after we return from our Halloween trip but I'm not complaining!!!:rotfl: I have just got it all booked, we are staying at Pop for the first time!:cool1: Its going to be a bit of a cheaper trip for us as we will have no money after our Oct trip, but no way was I turning it down!! So I am thinking just a couple of meals on-site, and a lot of eating off-site to save money!

I am going to need plenty of tips of things to do over Christmas. We only have 8 days so I'm thinking a day in each of the main parks, a day going round all the hotels to see the decs, then we promised my parents we would take them to the space centre for a day (triple yawn!!!!!). Probably not going to spend money on the Xmas party, but may do the candlelight processional if anyone thinks its worth it?

Also, whilst I'm waffling, I will have a few days left on our ultimate Disney park tickets after our Oct trip - can I still pay to make then un-expirable so I can use remaining days in December, or do they not allow that anymore?

Thanks!!!!!!

If they are the UK tickets I don't think you can change them in anyway.

If they are Magic Your Way tickets I think you can add the no expiration option within 14 days of their first use. You may also want to look at the price of upgrading to an AP if you want more days or to do another trip ;)

I'm sure this thread would have the up to date info :thumbsup2

Congratulations! we are there 4-20th December and at the last mvmcp on the 19th December.

You might want to price up the new combined annual pass for wdw and dl?

We loved pop when we stayed there in 2008 and it had the best bus system!

Great news!
We've been for Xmas twice and around that time a further 2 times and it's our favourite time of year!
I'd recommend:
MVMCP (if it's still on when you go as it stops a few days before Xmas)
Osboune Lights in HS
Candlelight processional - I'd splash out and do the dinner pckg as well worth it
Holidays around the world at EPCOT - Xmas storytellers
Gaylord Palms- ice
Resort decorations particularly at GF and the BW resorts
Snow at Celebration
Also there should be special stuff at pop on Xmas eve/ day

Oh you lucky thing, I'm very jealous! Christmas at Disney is really lovely :)

Visiting the resorts is definitely worth doing they look amazing and some even smell delicious, LOL.

Candlelight Processional...I've said in the past that this is something that I'm really glad I did (was Christmas Eve so was magical) but not sure I'd go to the effort and $$ of doing again - being your first time though I'd definitely go for it :)
