I haven't seen this mentioned on the DIS and wasn't sure where to post about it, but I got a new book at Barnes and Noble yesterday called Kingdom Keepers. It's by Ridley Pearson and is geared to young teens, but I've read about 100 pages now and it's pretty good!
It's about how the characters come to life at night after the parks close and how the villians have gained strength and are trying to take over WDW. The Imagineers and a group of kid's they find are trying to stop them by solving an old riddle/clue Walt himself left behind. It's no DaVinci Code, but if you love Disney and enjoy something a little along the lines of Harry Potter (VERY broadly along the lines of Harry!
) you might get a kick out of it. Maleficent seems to be the villan's leader and it's fun reading about her walking the parks at night.
It'd be great fun to read on the plane to WDW or by the pool once you get there.....and then you'll be looking at those villians and animatronic pirates at POTC a little closer I bet!
