I know this restaurant is brand new and does not accept any dining plans. The menu looks like something my husband would love though. Thinking maybe it could be our one big splurge. Does anyone know if they are taking reservations? There is nothing online. Also, if anyone does eat there, can you please post your experience? TIA

Open Table only takes reservations 90 days out. We are waiting with baited breath for the 90 day mark or for Disney to open reservation on their ap.

I'm really trying to figure out how you guys made reservations on Open Table for The BOATHOUSE in Downtown Disney already. When I looked there and tried, I got the following message:

"The Boathouse is accepting Internet reservations for Friday, May 15th & after. Please check on or after that date for Internet reservation availability."

It's the "please check on or after that date" part that is throwing me off because it won't allow you to book a reservation.

Same here.

We are there in April. It was a Saturday, for dinner. At the time they weren't taking reservations. We were seated right away, of course that might have changed but it was nice! The food was great! So was the service. And it's a very pretty restaurant.

Boathouse is walk-up only until May 15, then it will begin taking reservations. We went a couple of weeks ago on a Friday night and was seated without a wait.

THANKS! Called the Boathouse Directly for an ADR October:cheer2:; they use Open Table..
First call was to Disney Dining after trying on MDE this morning...surprise, surprise....Disney Dining couldn't make reservations nor MDE!:scared1:

I was just able to make an ADR on MDE for 10/25 and it showed up telling me that it was on the dining plan as a 2 credit restaurant.

If you go right to the restaurant it won't let you search for reservations. It just gives hours open for that date and tells you it does not take dining plans.

I searched at the top for any restaurant on 10/25 for a certain time frame and it popped up. I snagged it thinking I could always cancel later if I changed my mind. I was completely surprised when it showed the 2 dining credits. Doing the happy dance right now. :D

According to the Disney website it is not on the dining plan... I dont understand how its popping up that it is a 2 table credit meal...

I can only tell you what is popping up on my confirmation.

If you go to the Boathouse page it shows no, but my confirmation says yes and I'm going with that.

Please don't burst my happy little bubble and tell me it's a glitch. I want to believe. lol

Its on my confirmation also.. I just dont believe it just yet... I have been told over and over by reservation cast members that it will not be on the Dining Plan..

Uhg I really hope it doesn't accept the dinning plan, while I see why people using it would be happy, the dinning plan seems to bring nothing but sub-par service and food to the restaurants that accept it.

I called the restaurant directly, and they said they would be taking the dining plan as of next week. It will be a 2 credit signature dining. They were not sure about Tables in Wonderland.
