You don't have to have the inspire to refer someone to it.You have a inspire referral already? How long have you had the card?
I forgot to ask do you already have a redemption card? If not you would need a minimum of $20 in Disney Dollars to get one. If you do then you need a minimum of $10 to transfer to your existing one. PYB has no minimum for redemptions. I used it for $0.01 on a shop disney purchase before.sounds like the redemption card would be easier overall then. I don't have any charges on the regular Disney Visa card in the last 90 days. It didn't earn enough benefit for me to use it much. Which is why I'm happy to be moving to the Inspire. Thank you all for explaining the options!
I just requested the redemption card. I only had $37ish of rewards and they said I'd get the card in a week or so. Again, I had no balance on that card for quite a while. Trying to make a charge for the exact number of rewards dollars then going back and marking it as PYB looked more hoops to jump through. It will be my first redemption card so I trust I can just hold it until May when I head back to WDW.I forgot to ask do you already have a redemption card? You can still leave it at home and use it to pay the dues of your new contract.I just requested the redemption card. I only had $37ish of rewards and they said I'd get the card in a week or so. There are limitations on switching based on AF's if you haven't had the card for a year as they can't raise the fee until after a year even if you are voluntarily doing so. It was a law that was passed but I can't remember which one.Just got an invitation from Chase for the Disney Inspire and I was so excited for a minute that they changed their minds on my approval. But, turns out it is just an invitation to switch. So, no $300 gift card or $300 bonus later. What is interesting is it says, "Invitation to switch is valid through April 30, 2026."
I thought people could switch anytime they would like to. But, does Chase sometimes not let people switch and so it is based on their approval? I was planning to switch closer to when MNSSHP tickets go on sale, so I'll plan to switch by that deadline just in case.
I have the no fee version. Was able to still refer, as stated above, it works for any card in the Disney brand. You have an inspire referral already? How long have you had the card?
I renewed my AP using the Inspire card on 2/6. I got the 3% and the $100 statement credit. Credit posted to my account on 2/13 and is listed as DISNEY TICKET CREDIT.Maybe I missed it. Has anyone renewed their annual pass or Magic Key using the new card? If so, how was that coded? Is it 3% plus $100?
I referred dh over 2 weeks ago. he rec'd card and has put spend on it. no referrral for me yetYou don't have to have the inspire to refer someone to it.
You can refer from any Disney card and all three will be available for the person to select from.
This is how some family members referred their P2 to the new card so they both received a bonus.

I used gift cards for most of the renewal. I’m a DVC member, so I did have to call to renew. Not sure if this is how tickets purchased online will code. Thanks for the DP.
Glad you received your credit but this not looking good for special event tickets.
Do you care to show how the AP charge shows on your statement?
The merchant type includes fortune tellersI used gift cards for most of the renewal. I’m a DVC member, so I did have to call to renew. Not sure if this is how tickets purchased online will code.

Thanks for DP'sMy Star Wars Nite purchases literally say "Disneyland Tickets" so I'm fairly confident they will qualify.
Well playedI used gift cards for most of the renewal.
Exactly what I plan to do upon renewal!!I purchased After Hours Tickets which posted on the 16th and they are coded as WDW Tickets. I will give it a few more days. I am going to downgrade my Premier to the basic Rewards so when I call to do that I will ask about the credit for tickets. Thanks for DP's
Your AP was coded as WDW Guest Service and purchased on 2/6/26, Posted on 2/8/26 and received the credit on 2/13/26 showing "Disney Ticket Credit"
Hyper purchased on 2/5 and was coded as "Disneyland Tickets" for Star Wars Special Event Tickets and still has not received the credit.
I wonder if the WDW vs Disneyland could be the cause as something in Chase's system. Hyper you may need to reach out to chase and hopefully they don't come back with you need to wait 6-8 weeks.
