It's also neat to see that they're starting to integrate lighting on California Screamin into the show. Mickey's Fun Wheel has always been part of the show, but the TRON clip shows what they can do with Screamin. Very cool.

I thought the same thing Tom. I was really impressed with how they incorporate all of the Paradise Pier elements behind the lagoon into the show. Best... movie... trailer... ever!

I watched the original the other day and it's not that good.

You know I have very little interest in the new Tron, and it's purely because of the old Tron. We rented it a couple months ago for our family "pizza movie" night, and it was awful. The film just about put me to sleep. I tell you, Disney is certainly marketing the new film full-force though, aren't they: Comic-con, Tron-o-rail, ElecTRONica, and now the Tron-core for World of Color. They are probably pushing this film as hard as they pushed "Alice in Wonderland". If it starts getting good buzz when the film comes out, I may go see it. However, right now I'm in a wait and see mode.

I'll say this about the new movie, they can do so much more now with CGI than they could back then that I have no doubt that they will create an absolutely stunning world. They also had Pixar come and help them with the story, so atleast they are trying to make sure it's tight. However, that doesn't mean it's going to be a success and if it fails Disney has set themselves up for a huge disappointment.

I wonder - and hope? - that the original Tron was a movie before its time. There was a great idea there without a lot of what you needed to make the vision really happen. Maybe this time...
