Gran Destino tower Coronado

I just switch my RunDisney resort from Pop to Coronado. I book Gran Destino which I have never stayed in before. I stayed in the village 8 years ago when the tower was being built. I was hesitant to switch because honestly the multiple bus stops were a big negative for me but I have heard lots of great things about the tower and wanted to experience it myself. I was wondering if anyone knows if the race buses go to bus stop 2 first like they do for the parks or bus stop 1 first on race morning?

I haven't done a run Disney event since 2018 (and I didn't stay at Coronado) but my memory was the buses for the race only leave from ONE stop. I stayed at Old Key West and the race buses didn't travel the resort, they only came to the Hospitality House and everyone had to make their way from all over the resort up to the front to get on the bus. Same with drop off after the race. The bus only goes to 1 stop, not to all the stops at the resort.

I've stayed at Coronado for a few race weekends and each time it was one stop going and coming back. That stop is not one of the usual park bus stops though. It's the entrance near the gift shop, in between the tower bus stops and the convention center.

For marathon, the buses’ first stop is at the tower bus stop. I’ve never seen them go to a different stop, and they all seem to just turn round and leave. However, I have no direct experience riding a marathon bus as a participant or observer, so they could make more than just the tower stop. Marathon Sundays are the only times we ever have an issue with buses at CSR. All transport from CSR on Marathon Sunday is a nightmare until about 3pm. I doubt the other races are unite as hectic.
