That was interesting. I've been hearing Nancy talk about it on the podcast and trying to figure out what it was. When I was pregnant I used to make a turkey sandwhich out of waffles and deli turkey and butter. So I was thinking it was something like that. I guess I'm not understanding why you would want fried chicken next to your waffles. I thought it would be chicken slices on the waffles.

When I first heard of this years ago, I thought it was the most bizarre thing ever. However, I tried it last summer and found it to be FABULOUS! This place is awesome, and I can't wait to go back!

Chicken and waffles is a southern thing...very southern. In fact, despite being below the Mason Dixon line and everywhere has sweet tea...I can't find them here in southeastern VA. Every time I've seen the, the chicken is served on top of the waffles and it usually has the syrup poured over the top of it all.
