New bedding at BCV yet?

I read in the last Vacation Magic that the bedding at the BCV was getting replaced with brand new pillow top mattresses and sofa bed mattresses were being replaced throughout the summer. Has anyone seen this first hand with their recent visits? We will be there at the end of August and are wondering how far along they are. Anything is better than some of the mattresses we have slept on in the past!

That sounds great to me. I must have missed that as I was reading through it. I'll have to go back and look. I wish the change would take place within the next 11 days. That would be nice. Not that I haven't always had a great nights sleep there but, we have a pillow top at home and it is sooo comfortable.

We were just there Memorial Day week and the bedding had not been updated yet in our villa.

Sorry, I have not been on in a few days so I am just bumping again in hopes that someone knows since we will be there in less than 2 weeks.

Anyone just return from the BCV and use the sofa bed? Any changes yet?

We just got back 3 days ago, and nothing that we saw, was going on with any of the bedding at BCV yet. It really will be nice when they do it.

We're here right now and no new bedding! BCV still has the worst beds! We've been in 2 rooms since 7/2 (not because of beds though --just a quickly planned trip). My guess is that they'll wait until Sept since all the resorts are filled. Maybe it means more than just mattresses for DVC to do it right. I'm back at BCV in March so that should be plenty of time!

Bumping yet again. No news since 7/17. Will be there starting 8/29. Anyone have anything to report?

Was there last week. Sorry no new mattresses in our one bedroom.

But boy was it a beautiful room and resort!!!!! Have a great vacation!

Another bump! 25 days and counting and the only thing I have heard is that the first floor has new beds but the next delivery was held up in customs or something like that.

Does anyone have new info?

I'm staying in a 5th floor BCV room right now with a very old matress.
