New bar in I drive

I've been reading, here's a link to the story, about the new ICEBAR on International Drive, looks interesting but not sure I fancy going somewhere cold for a drink, we leave the UK to somewhere warm for heavens sake! Can't quite figure out where it is but cant help thinking it may not be there this time next year!

My thoughts exactly. Once the initial novelty's worn off, I can see them having to waive the expensive cover charge at the very least. These things were all the rage for office parties and corporate events a few years back and I thought they'd gone out of fashion, although NCL's new cruise ships are going to feature them, too.

Possibly the wrong place to open a gimmick bar like this. There's plenty of family attractions (in what is primarily a family orientated place) that don't last, never mind bars. I doubt it will even be there in May when we go.

Yeah I agree. I don't think it's the right place to have a bar like that, and doubt it will last long, but you never know.

I certainly won't be going to it for that admission price! There's hundreds of other places to go for free which are much more appealing, too much competition for them. I don't think it'll be there when I am! lol
