New Aulani members

The model they have at SSR of Aulani is incredible!

They have an Aulani model over at SSR?

Is it a full size mock up of an Aulani villa like the AKV and BLT models? Or is it just a "dollhouse" model (can't think of a more appropriate name) like the TreeHouse Villa model they already have at SSR? We will be at WDW at the end of September and we'll check out the models when we are there.

We just added on today. We're on the Disney Wonder and talked to a guide this morning. Our closing is this afternoon.

What were the incentives for aulani being offered on the cruise? Just curious to see if they're different and to see if we should wait until our cruise later this year...thanks!

Quote from our guide before we left was for $8 off per point, on the cruise we got $10 off per point. That was for a 100 point add on. If we had added on more we would have gotten more off and if we did 160 or more than we would have gotten an on board credit.

We also went to the DVC presentation on Nassau day (missed the Member Celebration as it was right before our DIS meet on sailing day) and won the $300 on board credit there.

You two are ALWAYS winning something! You must be some of the luckiest people around. The extra $2.00 off for the 100 point add on was nice.

Here is another question about Aulani that you might be able to answer: How active is Disney in presenting the Guaranteed Week option during the sales presentations? I have seen very little discussion about the Guaranteed Week option and I'm curious what the reaction has been to that option.

Aulani will be just like other DVC resorts. Until Aulani is fully declared for the DVC membership, there will be villas available for cash booking only through CRO.

Are you specifically asking about villas? Aulani will also have regular resort rooms

Regular rooms probably...don't want to go over 500 a night.
