I'd like to see that ride come in. Yet, people keep saying that the new Expedition Everest is a newer version of the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride. I do see a difference.

1. The ride cars on Matterhorn are bobsleds while E.E.'s are train cars.

2. E.E.'s takes place on Mt. Everest while the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride takes place on the Matterhorn (literally!)

I'd still like it if the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride came to WDW.

Well, it doesn't take place on the Matterhorn "LITERALLY" As it is in Anaheim, not the Swiss Alps.

Realistically though, while I agree they are different, Disney certainly won't.

Not that it's going to ever happen, but having recently seen the latest 007 movie, wouldn't Bond be a great theme for a Disney ride?

Yeah the part of the ride where they tie you to a chair and hit you repeatedly in the crotch with a knotted rope would be great!

My vote is for the DLR Pirates to replace WDW version, oh and Indy too.

Bond would be great but I wouldn't count on it. I had heard they tried to get the rights to put Bond on the Lights Motor Action, but they wanted a boatload of cash. But a ride would be great.

The show in Paris was to be themed to 'James Bond', but the deal fell through over a dispute with the using the 'MGM' on the park (MGM owns the 'Bond' franchise). The then owners of MGM Studios asked for more name royalities for Paris then the previous owners had gotten for Disney's Florida park. So Disney dropped "Disney/MGM Studios Paris" to just "Disney Studios Paris" and the auto show lost its storyline.

DS loved that classic ride more than anything else at DL.
