My DD is 11 and that's exactly how we see it.
They mentioned 10 years old for kids outgrowing Disney.
It's more like 8. Once they reach the height requirements for the IOA rides, it's over.
Daughter went to Epcot with her school and said it was cool, but I haven't been back for over 3 years. We may go next year for Mission Space. Sure, the kids will say they want to visit Disney because its fun, but I want thrill (fun) rides. Suits are scared to build them because the GP thinks they are scary, thus the "fun ride" name instead of "thrill." Eisner will get it one day.
100 million for mission space? For that much money, I hope the ride part is cool and not a letdown like TR at PKI. You could build two MFs (Millennium Force) with that kind of money. Or a couple B&M inverted coasters and have a super Deuling Dragons, plus enough money left over to build the B&M (Peter Pan) Flyer.
