Has anyone figured out how to determine what photo is what print size on these new archive discs? I e-mailed Photopass Guest Services and they basically said there is no way to tell which file is a 4x6 and which is a 5x7 now that it isn't written in the file name any more. The best they could tell me was to go through each file (all 560+ of them) and try and determine from the cropping. Seriously? What in the world was wrong with the previous file naming system!?
I'm hoping someone here has figured something out maybe from resolutions or something? I'm a bit frustrated with this change. You have to go and save different sizes of pictures if you want the borders to show up correctly on each size, but now they aren't giving you a way to figure out what size you need to print the file at...so that was hours of my time wasted.
One thing's for sure...I won't say I'll never do a photodisc again, but I'm never spending hours on borders/photo sizes again if there's no way to tell the difference. Everything will stay in 4x6 unless they change something.
