Hate.
It's not that they changed the look form the comic, but this look is endemic to the problem that DC is having with their movies. It's too dark, grim, and serious, like they're afraid to actually embrace what makes Superheroes unique. There's no sense of fun. It's like they say, let's use Aquaman, but we don't like his orange shirt, or fins, or that he's half-human, or that he talks to fish...change all that (those are just conjecture, not what they are actually doing). You're left with a generic character from Game of Thrones or any other dark fantasy movie. Way to step out on a limb! And why do they always want to put a guy who spends so much time in the water in metal armor?
Personally, I don't care to see this film anyway (as I did not see Man of Steel). Marvel is making the movies I want to see these days!
