New APs - What about Volcano Bay?

So we were waiting for the new APs, even risking a price hike, just because we wanted to buy an AP that would have Volcano Bay included. We want to use the AP first in November/December this year, and continue using it for 2 other visits - one in May 2017, and then one next year around Halloween, then also visiting Volcano Bay.
What would you suggest we do now? I can wait buying till before our visit, but I am seriously annoyed by them not even mentioning Volcano Bay anywhere...-.-

No mention of Volcano Bay in the new passes. Might be an upgrade if you want or just a separate ticket.

They probably won't have details on that till closer to when VB may open, just in case they are running behind or what not. Or they could have a whole separate AP for the water park. Who knows?

Yeah the "who knows" part is kinda annoying to me :/ I would guess they might announce sth when they set the passholder benefits for 2017, cause the website has blockout dates for 2017 right now but benefits clearly state "until December 31, 2016." Does anyone know when they usually announce benefits for the new year? I hope before January 1...

New benefits usually come out in the fall but normally the only change is in the blackout dates and they are already published..

Yeah but they would HAVE to acknowledge Volcano Bay in the benefits for next year somehow, anything else is bad customer service in my opinion...

I wouldn't necessarily assume that VB would be included in any AP.

If anything, perhaps the top level of pass eventually

I would expect to be able to either be grandfathered into remainder of my pass if that were the case for new purchases or be able to purchase heavily discounted VB tickets.

I am okay if they end up "just" giving a discount, but I would like to know beforehand which APs give me what discount^^ Well I emailed them yesterday, so we'll see what they say.

Share if you get a definitive answer. I'd be thinking nothing will be decided until the park is a month out from opening as construction delays aren't uncommon.

And it is still 9 months before it opens. That's lots of time for a whole new batch of tickets and annual passes.

I'd like to know, as our UK bonus tickets for next year have gone up greatly in price to already include volcano bay,
We're planning on upgrading our two park bonus tickets in September to AP's for next year so would love it if they come out with the info soon.
