New AP activation

Arriving at 10pm at CR. I booked an AP rate. AP won't be activated until next morning. We will be checking into VGF next day. So will this be a problem. Am I going to need to activate my AP and bring it back to CR before I check out?

They virtually NEVER ask to see an AP, even for an AP rate.
These days, since your MDE account will show that you have bought an AP, there's little to worry about.
AND-If you use ON-LINE CHECK-IN, you won't even ever need to go to the front desk at all.
Nobody will need to see your AP, period.

And, even before the present-day situations that I described above (before there was MDE and on-line check-in) if (IF) the resort
clerk asked to see your AP, guests had 24+ hours to go to a park and get the AP activated and return with it
to the desk to show (as you mentioned in your OP.)

So, there's was/is nothing to fret over with an AP room deal.

I don't know if it makes a difference if it is a renewal or a new AP, but I didn't do anything to activate my renewal AP in September...in the past I would get a voucher and had to activate it at Guest Services. As Robo said very few resorts ask to see it anyway so I wouldn't worry about it. I had to show it every time at the YC but that is the only resort that has ever asked to see it. It would be in your MDE account anyway...they can look it up. I didn't even get a card this time.
