Can anyone on board confirm if they’re showing the new Ant Man?

I'm assuming this is being shown in the Walt Disney Theater as part of the main evening entertainment?

Usually not, unless on a long cruise (7-nights+) and when premiering a massive blockbuster. They usually do a late evening premiere followed with showings in the movie theaters.

Maybe that's for the "PremEAR" cruise only? Sorry, I was thinking of all the upcoming cruises that might show the latest movie as part of the main entertainment line-up. The navigators from a recent 5-night Wonder showed Avatar playing in the WDT at 4:00 and 8:30 pm.

We had Avatar in January on the main screen on a 4-night Wish, so I don’t know why you couldn’t get Ant man

We’ve rarely had a movie as an evening show. That involves them scraping an entertainer, or maybe filling his spot if he his unavailable. It is not common, but it can happen.

Browsing several navigators from the past year, I don't see any main event movies on 3-night cruises. But I seem to have found more 4- and 5-night cruises that do have them than don't. Whether it's Avatar, Wakanda Forever, Turning Red, Love and Thunder, or Multiverse of Madness, they've all made it to the WDT on shorter cruises this past year.

Do you have a sense which night? Will be on the 4 night Wish at the end of the month.

They don't have to "scrap" anything, just not book someone for one of the nights. We've had movie premiers in the theater multiple times. Some were "massive blockbusters" (e.g., Avatar 2) and some weren't (e.g., Mary Poppins 2, West Side Story). It varies a lot. We've had it on about 80% of our cruises.

Whether they show a movie in the WDT likely depends on the availability of additional entertainers. I do think there have been more movie nights since the restart than there used to be. Initially that may have been intentional to avoid bringing extra people onboard, and/or the entertainers had to cancel or simply didn't/don't want to do cruise ships.

We've been on 2 Disney cruises when Disney/Marvel movies have premiered. Now, these are Disney produced movies premiering on a major Disney property. You would think they'd make a huge deal for the premiere showing. Nope! Nothing! Not so much as a souvenir paper flyer. We were VERY disappointed.
