If all 3 resorts at which you are staying are WDW resorts, you'll be able to book for your entire trip in advance.

Does this include a split stay combining on site with swan/dolphin?

We just purchased our annual passes and I'm a little confused on the new Magic Bands... We already have MBs, and I know you CAN get new ones with the AP slider. Do you have to get the new bands or can you keep your old ones? Also, do you have to have the slider in order to receive the discounts? Thank you in advance!!

1. Nope.
2. Yes. (If you get new MBs the old ones will continue to work as well as the new ones.)
3. No. But, you DO need to pick up your AP CARD when you activate the AP at WDW.
Showing the CARD is how you get the discounts.

Note that within the sixty day period that if you are staying on property you still are not permitted to book fastpasses on days that you are not onsite. I have a 7 day vacation at a DVC resort the end of November for 7 days. I also am in Fl for a conference(not on property) and have tickets to the Halloween party in early October. And as an annual passholder/ DVC memberr I am NOT permitted to book any more days of fastpasses within those sixty day because my 7 day limit is used up for the resort stay. This is a slap in the face as an annual passholder and even after entering the park I am not permitted fastpasses per guest services at Epcot.

I'm about to purchase a new AP but I'm still confused about FP+

We have one night on property at the beginning of our trip so I know I can start booking 60 days out for those 2 days (arrival/departure) but...
1 - with an AP will I be able to get FP+ for the duration of our trip - 7 days? Even if we're off property for the remaining 6 nights?
2 - if yes - will I only be able to book FP+ for myself as the only AP holder or for our whole group (linked on MDE)?
