It's going to be the announcement of what replacing Jimmy.

If that's all it is then I'm not concerned. Hearing that Jimmy Neutron is to be replaced is good news in my eyes. Particularly if it's with Despicable Me.

I don't think its the Jimmy Neutron thing , thats more like a rehash than a
major attraction announcement. There is the recent water park news,
Universal had a patent on wonder seas island approved. this would be a
major thing. HHN rumors .com has the permit info on the fourm.

Or it could be the putt putt golf course for citywalk too. we'll see.

Clearly the Jimmy Neutron thing. They have a whole online campaign geared at dropping hints and guessing what the replacement will be, this is the culmination of that.

Any announced timelines yet? I'm going in mid-October for four nights. I'm sure Despicable Me will still be under construction, but potentially Spiderman will be fully converted. Can't take long to swap out projectors -- right?

They aren't just swapping out projectors. The entire film is being redone. I imagine that is what is going to take a while.

I missed this. Part of our Sept trip is specifically for my spiderman daughter to be able to ride spiderman!!

Are they doing something to that ride??

I would keep a close eye on the news or these boards. I could only guess that after the summer it will go down for a full refurb with upgrades. The 2 new projectors that are in there now, I could only assume they are testing them out.

They are completely redoing the film, upgrading the graphics and projection system. Nothing has been said about it closing, so don't worry!

Being a key attraction to IOA, they will work on it over night. Just like Hulk, its repainting took place at night, to keep the ride open during the day.
