Thanks for posting. I don't think it looks nearly as terrible as people are making it out to be.
Went last night and it's unbelievably boring.
Just cancelled my package, someone said the bugs were out pretty heavy last night and my daughter is allergic to bug bites, plus DD17 abd DD22 watched and lost all interest in about 5 minutes. We will relax instead.

We saw the Friday 10PM JB show, just a last minute thing. No live bugs in sight. We were walking toward Dino Land and saw the end of the standby line near the exit to Finding Nemo. The line wandered into the FN building by the restrooms at the lower right site, we went across the room and back in the outside queue and continued around and back into the to of the FN cross and out to the short queue area on the top left. There CMs were counting groups and sending us across into the stadium in groups of about 200. We managed to be in the first Standby section in Dino Land, about 15 rows up and well between the light posts (Note: the big green light post can block so viewing areas). As others have posted the seating is too low and too close together, lots of "mom" I can' t see anything. The 4 front barges are too close and set too low for a good view of them. The 3 larger floats are also to low to see more the arm movements and waving. And the worst, the main barge faces a blank section between the 2 stadium sides. They need to be further back in the water and have better lighting, (just my thoughts). Also, the lighting effects that were carried by CMs down the stairs were to low and did not have enough lighting to be very visible from the center of a long row.Just cancelled my package, someone said the bugs were out pretty heavy last night and my daughter is allergic to bug bites, plus DD17 abd DD22 watched and lost all interest in about 5 minutes. One guy said he had them pretty bad on both legs, if there are bugs in the area, they will find my daughter it must be her blood type, she is a bug magnet, thanks for the nice reviewWe saw the Friday 10PM JB show, just a last minute thing. I feel for the individual performers as the each seemed to be performing great, just the whole show did not come together. The barges / floats need to be higher in the water since they cant lower the seating. Also the water screen on the left was having issues.
Again, no bugs and if they were out they are the least of any problems with a new evening in AK.
Personal View: They should add Characters from the JB into the show much like Fantasmic has on the barges that circle during the show.

Another poster said he did not get any bites, but my daughter gets them if there is one within miles, and it makes the rest of the trip misrable, last time we were in the infirmary, so better safe than sorry, if it had great reviews, we would have put jeans on her and gone. But this way, we have one night of our trip to possibly relax.Between boring, and the bugs we may have to pass on JB. I've been waiting for reviews and I really don't think it's worth a dinning package or a FP. I was wondering about the bugs in AK at night, and this settles it.

While I have been in AK during night hours years ago .... I think the one thing that might need to be addressed is the bugs there at night. It's much more lush and green with more "natural" waterways plus animals. Bugs are bound to be a bigger problem there than other parks. I know it's the only park I have been stung by a bee.
