New Animal Kingdom Ride?

Does anyone know when the new ride at Animal Kingdom is scheduled to open?

Hi,

If you do a search on these boards for "Expedirtion Everest" you will find lots of threads!

Disney has not released an opening date for the ride yet. Rumors have it opening on April 22, with "soft" openings in Febraury and March. I have also read on another thread that there will be a press event for EE in early April.

The Daily Buzz morning news show was at the Studios yesterday for a preview of the Osborne lights. They said they would be back live in April for the opening of Expedition Everest. That's not offical, but its a pretty good indication it will be in April

We just returned from WDW and the girl at customer service at AK would only commit to it opening "Spring 2006". She wouldn't even narrow down to which month.

It looks fantastic tho! I want to go back and ride it!!!!

The tentative grand opening is April 6 - 8.

I can't wait to ride this! We were just at wdw in october and EE is an amazing sight- see my sig pic. You can see it from the bus when going by the park and it looks awesome all lit up at night.
