New and need some advise for a trip in October

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any advise and suggestions for an upcoming trip that we have planned in October.

We have allocated 2.5 days for both Disneyland and California Adventure Park (2,3 and 4th October 2013). At this stage, we don't plan on going for the Halloween party.

Would this be enough time to visit the 2 parks ? Also, what are the crowds in early October likely to be like?

Given that this is our forst time visiting Disneyland, I've no idea what to expect and would like to make sure that we have scheduled enough time to cover both parks.

Welcome! And post your questions to the DisneyLand forum, where you will hopefully get good answers.

I believe you will find crowds at DL to be light in October, unless there is any special event taking place. You can always get a great time out of limited days if you prioritize and get to the things you want to do... avoid wandering aimlessly! I am sure with 2.5 days you will feel you did not see everything... with shows, parades and attractions you can fill quite a few days at DL now. But I am certain you will see a lot. You did not mention if you have kids - seeing everything for kids and adults is a tall order, but if you are more focused on kids, or more focused on adults, you stand a good chance of seeing everything you want to in 2.5 days. Yes.. we have 2 children.. 8 and 10 years old.
What would be the ideal number of days to spend at the 2 parks if we want to cover everything ?

We are from Australia and given that we will be travelling so far to get to Disneyland, just want to maximise the experience.
