New and need help about AKL

I am hoping someone can help me out. I am planning a trip to AKL May 2006 for 7-8 nights. I am trying to budget the money between now and then. Cannot find any rates for 2005 anymore since may is almost done..If anyone could let me know how much they paid and if any discounts were available, I would be most appreciative.

We are paying $300/night with an email discount code for our room,deluxe savannah view, but there are five of us. The same discount code for a regular savannah view would have been $166/night (both prices include tax)

We will be at the AKL, using an Annual Passholder rate, which you may want to consider purchasing if you will be ther for 8 nights, 9 days, particularly for the dicsounts you can get with it, and are paying $240/night after tax for a regular savnnah view room. Apparently the AP rates were not very good this year, but have been better in the past.

I have a standard view booked with an AP rate and it's $154.99 per night for May. And like another poster has stated, the AP rates are not as great this year as they have been in the past, but they are way better than nothing.

Book the standard rate and ask for an upgrade at check-in. We have always automatically been upgraded to Savannah view in the past.
