I think I'll be joining you too girlies and guys...got a bridemaid dress to fit in better by May this year! Yikes!

Doing it for myself mainly though, I got down to a size 12-14 a couple of years ago and now back up to a 16, so I've got some jeans to aim for, which are currently awaiting me in my wardrobe! Fingers crossed!

Thanks guys, it was the rosemary conleys diet that i follow, low fat,no fancy diet, easy peasy, hubby is good about never having butter or anything above 5% fat in the house, ofcourse i splurge, I go up and down by a stone, but i run, I swim, I cycle, i am like bear with a sore head if i dont excersise!
It is a buzz to run, i have done 6 half marathons in the last 3 years , this year i am doing the loch ness marahon, yes a proper marathon:scared1:

Hi, can I join in too.
I joined weightwatchers online a couple of days ago. This will be the 1st time I've joined a weight loss group. I usually panic diet about 2 months before our hols after trying my shorts on  I'd like to do it properly this year.

Wow well done Lynne.....such an inspiration!!!

Did you battle with it for ages before losing weight or was it your first real attempt? I have always managed to lose between 2 & 3 stone then get stuck and end up putting it all back on. :headache: :scared:

No, I done this for 10 years,on and off,on off, this time I kept it off, I am sure the differance this time was the exercise!!

My mum sopped smoking about 10 times before finally cracking she was the one that said, keep trying !! once you get there it is so nice being normal, I really will never go back to that miserable life, i laugh, because I am smiling so much, that was a total lie, i was MISERABLE.

Welcome and good luck :thumbsup2

8 stone, it took 14months, that was easy, keeping it off for the last 3 years was the real challenge! last photo was my disney cruise in october.

Well done - the change is amazing. Makes me feel that my three stone should be easy peasy.

I think exercise is the real issue for me too. I need to do more ::yes:: I was brought up really active and we are really active with the girls but it's the white bread, cheese and wine and the rich meals out and takeaways that tip me over the edge. Before we had the girls we worked really long hours and ate out about four times a week - thats when it started :sad2: I was also out :drinking: a couple of nights a week :guilty:
I don't mean to sound rude but you can tell from the photos that you exercise, you look well toned and considering the camera adds weight, you are looking fab-u-lous.
You should be really proud of yourself:thumbsup2

Can I join too please? I've lost 14lbs over the last few months and want to shift another 14-21lbs. I'm getting married at Sea Breeze Point in December and although my dress fits well it would be better with a bit less bulk in it!

I was 15 stone and lost 3 stone, but with our WDW trip in 2007, Halloween, Christmases, birthdays... Well, you know the story! I'm back on low-carb which works so well for me (hence the 14lbs over the last few months) and it would be great to be a part of this thread.

I hope you don't mind but I've posted a before and after. First at 15 stone, 2nd at 12 stone. The first picture was taken in India and it was the one that made me realise I had some work to do!
