New ADR rule??

I just called to change something on my reservation and the CM told me that I can't start booking reservations for my March trip until 1/18?? Now the CM I spoke to yesterday told me that I could book 180 days in advance. I told this CM that and she said no it's a new rule.

I'm still calling 180 days out to at least get my CM and CRT and see what they say then.

So confusing!

it's not a new rule, but they're upgrading the reservation system, so they can't make any ressies past a certain date until the new system is up and running. I believe CRT is the exception to this for some reason.

Yes but I thought that date was October 24th?? I know the exceptions are CM and CRT for 180 days. All others have to wait until after 10/24...or is it 1/18/09 now?

They are upgrading the dining system right now.

Currently you can make reservations up through 2/22/09

On 11/21/08 you can make reservations for 180 days (normal window is open)


The date was originally 10/24/08, however they are having problems with the upgrade and it's delayed. When the delay was announced they opened a few more weeks (1/25/09 to 2/22/09)

If the system is delayed further I expect that they'll open a few more weeks after 2/22, but that's purely my speculation and not based on fact.

For your BEST word from Disney (short of official word) watch for posts from IMACM and DisneyDine. They're Cm's who have always been very truthful and accurate with their posts.
