new 2008 code

I just called disney to see if i have any codes. The nice lady found a code attached to my name but they cant tell what it is yet. You have to book a magic your way with dining to get the code. Does anyone have any insight on this new code? thanks!

I would call back. I have never heard such a thing. They can't make you book a trip to see what a code is. Either the lady was wrong , or misunderstood her. But if you have a code they will tell you what it is. Or you have to have a PIN to use it. Which would've been sent to you. I'm not sure if they have them with your name as well.
But non of this sounds right.

she didnt say i had to book the trip to see what the code is. she said it doesnt show what the code is yet but it does say that the code goes towards a magic your way plus dining only . so i came on here to see if anyone has herd about this code and what it will be.

I have called several times to see if I have a code attached to our name- on one of the calls the CM told me he thought I should check back in Feb. because I may have a code then. In the meantime, I have made room only reservations with a AAA discount for our August trip. When I called a few days ago to ask if I had any codes, the CM told me he could not find us in his system! Finally, we discovered our grown son created his own account on disneyworld.com and had updated his profile on disneyworld.com with his new address. Somehow, our entire family reservation for two rooms was moved to his address. Pretty scary because two different people could have the same name. I'm almost afraid to call again, in case they access our current reservation and mess it up.

I have called a few times to see if there was a code with my name but no luck. Guess it doesn't really matter though cus the other codes that people have been posting about here seem to black out my dates. I would bet, with the exception of AP, codes that most codes will not cover my dates.

I do have the AAA rate for room only booked through CRO. I was trying to wait on the AP rates but decided I wanted to do the dining plan. I have a package on hold through AAA and will call later today to book it. Then cancel my room only. If I thought that any package code would come out for my dates I might wait. But I'm getting antsy and want everything finalized! Now over the next few hours I just have to decided between regular dining plan and deluxe dining plan. Doing the math right now

I forget the 3 code letters, but trips for this spring have the park hopper and the water parks and more option added at no additional costs to packages booked with the dining package.

When I booked my trip for this March, the code was attached to my name. Now the upgrade is also showing for all trips booked online for the available spring dates.
