New “Key To Disneyland” interactive experience coming May 16th

They were out of stock for a few days and back in stock last weekend. I saw more kids carrying them than adults and the lines were much shorter (as were the lines for the MB interactives) than they were the first couple of weeks.

While it has been very popular (we did it over the first few weekends and there were lines at each station), pin resellers were also buying these by the armfuls. They figured out out to pop out the pins by a quick hack and are reselling the pins on eBay for a decent amount of money.

Frustrating to see that - I know many disappointed people with upcoming trips who will miss out unless they restock sooner.

Crazy to think someone would pay $60+ for a pin. $60 for the key and the experience, while pricey, I can understand.

My son completed the experience and received one of the more coveted pins (the one of the castle). As of last week, it was selling (not listed) for $100 plus on eBay. Wild. (He is keeping it, btw! He was horrified I even suggested selling it on.)

An empty key was selling for ~$40 on eBay.
