I remember the early days of GPS. It wasn’t nearly as accurate as it is today. We were trying to go to a restaurant and the GPS told us we had arrived when we were on the Florida Turnpike about eight miles away.

Even when using GPS, I still want to have a general idea of the routes I should be taking to get to my destination. Just tried using my car GPS last week and it sent me off 'into the weeds' that clearly was NOT the location I was attempting to find. Convenient when it works well, but have had several occasions where it didn't work as planned. If that software is integrated into any sort of 'self-driving' technology, it clearly needs a LOT more development/refinement before I would ever trust to use it.
